England and France grow one center each. Losers this turn are Germany and Italy. Russia loses one to England, compensating the loss by taking Budapest from Austria-Hungary. Austria-Hungary in turn takes Naples.
There's no separate press phase for retreats. Send your press for the Winter.

to Russia:
I moved Galicia to Silesia as I said, hope it worked out well. I hope you
will be
making progress in Turkey this turn. No stab from me this turn (nor any
coming
up), I hope you have returned the favour. As you can see, I'm now committing
more against Germany, should lessen the pressure against you. I hope Turkey
cracks soon so that you can cover your north from England.
to England:
Turkey hold forever? I wish Russia would have been in Armenia after this
spring,
you know... but Turkey will crack, I don't worry about that. Remember,
though,
that I was not trying to be "noble" - I and Russia agrees to a 2-2 split of
the 4
Turkish centers, I still have Rumania to pick up, but of course I'm not
going to do
that now that he still hasn't gotten into Turkey.
About Austria at 8 being a less threat than England at 6, yes that holds
usually, and
it does here too. Remember, with Austria at 8, then already Italy and/or
Turkey
will always have been weakened - these centers come from somewhere. If Italy
didn't have his rogue fleet in Liverpool, you need only two units to hold
your
borders, thus have four to safely attack with. If I was to garrison my
borders
safely, I'd need nine - one more than I have - so I'm out attacking the
enemies of
my ally to keep myself safe that way. You are quite much more dangerous than
I
am at this point - but that doesn't mean you'll have to admit it. This is a
Diplomacy
game after all.
to Russia: So thats your answer huh? Alright then, you made your bed.
But with Austria now apologizing for Galicia and wanting you out of Rum(was
that a REAL support when Turkey could block so efortlessly?) I have no
qualms about StP. You better wise up soon - Austria may not want to
'dislodge' you from Rum but he's trying his damnedest to make you leave it
open.
Not your fault though, you just gave your trust to the wrong ally.
And there are riches for YOU awaiting in Austria-Hungary...
to Italy: Toldja it wouldn't work. Now feel the bite of Austria's 'help'.
He may just leave you with a couple of centers as long as you remain a pain.
You could use some wising up too.
to Germany: Don't believe the hype...he was attackin you anyway. Good job
BTW, we'll have your capitol back in no time!
to Austria: "Convoyed to Brest this season?" Fraid not Herr Puppet Master,
can't help ya.
to France: Thats cool...you didn't trust me...but for Gods sakes regain
control of the MAt before Austria gets fleets over there. Luckily, he didn't
trust A Pie to stay put or he'd have moved the other out of Venice.
I don't understand Italy's motivations either dude...looks like he merely
wanted a quick death and DK points...with no Italian press, we can only
assume thats correct.
To Turkey;
~LOL~ I stand corrected...your position is much better than I
thought...especially against those two.
To Italy: The ship sinks quickly...
To Austria: Thanks for the help, how about moving to GoL and supporting me back to Mar?
To Germany: Thanks for forgiving, but I need SCs, and you still have them.
To England: I want peace, and a piece of Germany. No English town should feel threatened.
Germany to Austria:
Bonehead, do you believe *everything* you read?
russia: i'd prefer you support aeg - bul, if you're going to support anything.
Colour Commentator to England:
Yes, I'm in the game. No, I won't say who. (Though wouldn't it be a trip if I were England? ;) And I've rated my own position with the same heavy-handedness that I've rated everyone else's, in my opinion (though, when it all comes out in the wash, you can decide for yourself).
And the reason I described it as sniping was because it certainly seemed to be so; taking Denmark and Sweden in successive seasons. However, in reviewing your position, I apologize, you were correct. Germany owned neither center, and thus it could not be sniping. I apologize deeply for the mis-interpretation.
However, that doesn't change the rest of my review. You are the strongest position in the Western Powers, and therefor Germany is taking a chance at playing your Jannisary, without such an agreement made as of yet. If, however, you make the Official Offer(tm), and he accepts, that's another kettle of fish.
