to Russia:
As I said, I'm taking Budapest. As for siding with you or Turkey,
in that I am flexible. If you want me on your side before Turkey
stabs you, then write me something. After he stabs you, it might
be too late.
to Turkey:
You appear in good shape... if you want help against Russia, I'll
be there, you know... so keep reconsidering the position, and when
you think the time is right, pounce him and I'll join in - unless he
approaches me first, of course.
to France:
Good luck in the naval battles... if I can free up forces, I'll be there too
help you out hold Iberia and Marseilles - I believe those three are
all we need to hold to keep the draw against England. He'll obviously
get Munich, Warsaw and Moscow in the end (unless I can prop up
Germany somewhere) but if we can hold what is south of this line, then
unless we're attacked in the back when the stalemate line is set up
(Turkey springs to mind), then we can survive to the draw. It would
of course not have been hard for us to set up a four way draw with
Russia if he hadn't stabbed me, and now if he starts thinking rather
than whatever he has been doing lately, I believe we can still do it. A
complication is if Turkey takes Bulgaria this fall, but we can hope that
he would rather be part of the draw than give England the solo. In the
end though, Italy's destiny is up to you - he's the one who has delayed
the English solo the most and if we want to keep him in Marseilles or
something for a survival, then I'm ok with that.
To Russia;
I really wish you could see your way passed attacking Germany.
I've stopped my advances as promised, but I'm still going to help Germany
regain its natural border. After that if you two still wish to battle it
out I'll stay out of it but I gotta be me. This is the best way I could
figure in keeping with my alliances between both of you.
To Austria;
Give up trying to figure me out. Pragmatic people will never begin to
fathom what makes me tick.
russia: sorry. yes, this is a stab. but given the situation, if i don't get while the getting's good, then i won't be able to withstand austria and/or england when they come 'round the mountain.
austria: your "chance" was in the beginning, when i was willing to work with you vs russia and italy. instead, you took bulgaria and rumania from me. however, given the current circumstances, you get a chance again. bulgaria and greece remain mine; sevastapol is mine as well. i will build 2 fleets this winter. you won't build any more (fleets) that you already have.
