England gains centers in France, Russia and Balkans, but loses Warsaw. Austria-Hungary takes Bulgaria and Greece, making Turkey's situation look even worse.
Next deadline, for Winter 1912, is 25.9.2002, 12:00 GMT. If the retreating units are to be discarded, please let me know as soon as possible.

to England: Let you into Rumania, as you wished.
Can you please position yourself for Naples next
year? I'll be there to support. I would
appreciate it if you'd honor my wish for your A
Rumania unit in spring (let me know during winter
if it's acceptable):
If I'm not in Bulgaria after this fall, please
move Rumania - Bulgaria.
If I am in Bulgaria, please support me.
We'll be able to work you into enough dots if you
don't try to be clever, don't worry about that.
But I would still very much like to give Turkey
what he deserves first. And I must admit, your
constant requests to Turkey is a bit worrying,
from my side of the table.
England to;
Austria;
Well, your time has arrived.
I imagine you'll get at least another this year.
I'm down to only being able to take home centers from you.
Unless we can procure Naples next year I'm looking hard at Budapest.
Plan?
France;
Hey, I have nothing against fighting to the last...thats commendable.
Giving up home centers in 'last ditch efforts to hurt the other guy' is, in
my opinion, unwise to say the least.
Germany;
Unbelievable. Paris wide open and I think I will follow my own doctrine and
defend the home land...Warsaw is yours. As for France being gone...I'm
unsure as to his tactics (I wouldn't have played it the way he did) , but he'll be
down two units this turn.
Turkey;
However this turns out I've got more to say, but it will have to wait until
endgame.
Germany to England:
I know I said all I wanted was Warsaw. And it was
all I wanted when I wrote the press. But when I
counted I figured you would have 15 and the likelyhood
of 18 very soon made this the time to take a chance.
I do not plan on taking any more from you. You must
realize that any good alliance provides for both
allies to grow and fight. Each must stay somewhat
even in center count or the ohter gets nervous and may take
centers to bring things to parity. If I was
successful then I am now at 5 and you are at 13. zif not, well
at least I tried. I'll not be supporting action
against you. This also had nothing to do with the
French press. The GM can verify this since when I
voted no last season I told him then I was going to
try and take one or two from you.
I'd truly like to see you and I wipe France off the
board before you hit 18 though. You must remember
that
even a the most loyal dog will somtimes nip a finger
or two while being fed. I'll mail you a band aid when
we're done if you'd like. But, please, lets continue
and I will head into France and leave the rest of your
dots alone. if I've failed and have gained nothing
than the alliance was as sham and I'll be coming after
you as fast as I can (no matter how slow that may
actually be). How about it???
england: i offered you something a while ago. i offered to split austria between the two of us, whoever gets it gets it. you decided that it would be better for you to take austria one or two centers at a time, helping him to get larger no less, instead of all at once. how could i possibly beat that offer? oh, i know. he made you a worse offer than me, and you took it; i'll make you a worse offer than him: help me survive longer than austria, and i'll let you have only one more center. so there. and i have been saying things to you, too. obviously, its not even worth wasting the time anymore, if you're going to ignore any of it.
