Russia is faced with two dislodgements this turn. The fleet in Kiel is forced to retreat to the Baltic Sea and armies in Sevastopol have to leave to Moscow.
There's no retreat press. Instead, the next season is Fall moves and the deadline is 14.3.2002, 12:00 GMT.

Turkey:
Ok, I did again as you suggested, except I did the fleet move as I said in
my
press - I hope that if you moved to Ionian Sea, that you supported you in. I
would appreciate getting my fleet through in fall if that's the case. If you
are
now in Ionian Sea, I will support you to Tunis in fall, and move Rumania to
Sevastopol, if you are not in Ionian Sea, please stay in Sevastopol
supporting
Ukraine to Moscow (if I didn't make it to Ukraine, support Rumania to
Ukraine). Does this sound okay?
It looks to me like Tunis is the only threat to English solo. We can hold
the
other 16 once we have collected them all. However, I don't see any other
centers we can take, so to avoid England getting to 18, we really need to
hold Tunis. If we bounced in Ionian Sea this turn, and England is in Tunis,
we really need to coordinate. So, if you didn't mention any moves to Ionian
Sea by you in your spring press, Albania will move to Ionian Sea again. If
you did mention fleet moves, I will follow them.
France:
If my fleet made it to Western Mediterranean, I apologize for moving next
to your center - I won't stay for long unless you want me to. And then
again,
I hope I didn't make it and that I cut a key support for a move against Mid
Atlantic!
Mr. Betting:
May I put $10 on an AEFT draw? Should give a $40 payout if I understand
the table correctly. Pretty funny, though, 2 to 1 in odds for a win by me.
Perhaps
you know something I don't about places over the stalemate line that I can
take
and hold? I'll be looking forward to your book "How to hold centers on the
other
side of the stalemate line while taking out a Turkey at 6 centers in your
back with
superior position and more fleets than you do have". England 17-3 seems
accurate unless Turkey stabs me or France, but I found the AEFT odds
generous.
Of course, if France decides to throw the game as the Colour Analyst
proposed
(attack me on the other side of the stalemate line while England mops him up
for
at least 17, hopefully not 18 centers), then the odds are England 1-1.
To all;
Well, I'm not going to waste everyones time bringing up a solo Austria
proposal that would most likely be voted down anyway. If ya'll can't see
whats happening now, well, it'll be over soon enough.
It 'would' be nice if someone else besides Austria and I were sending
press...then there would be the slightest chance of a turnaround.
To Turkey;
If you don't insist on Sevastapol your a fool. You can't take anything
with your fleets, well and not take it from Austria, your supposed ally: so
I guess the plan is for you to stay at your current size while Austria takes
out Russia and supposedly uses your fleets to stop up the Med? WHAT A
DEAL!:).
It was deals like that that finally got Russia attacking Austria.
As for Sevastapol not being a threat to Turkish home centers thats a bunch
of malarky...but you don't have to take mine NOR Austrias words for that,
just peruse the Internet and read up on it.
To France;
O yeah France, Austria wants you to make 'more agressive moves' on
England. Ya mean like Italy did? And look what happened to Italy. You want
to dance around with me while Austria grows up your back door thats fine
with me but we could work together against the only one I've been trying to
fight ALL game. See my proposal in the moves? Tunis is yours, AND you can
build another fleet if you want to. OR you could offer suggestions...
I might even take you up on something and leave myself open to a stab from
you... but silence gets us 'nothin'.
France to England and Austria:
Can we just get along? I'll wait to see who attacks me first, you or Austria. I defend against one and lose to the other.
Germany to:
ALL: Please stop supoprting Russia.
it isn't worth the time or aggrevation.
England: If I didn't get to KIE this time around I'd
like to try it again, only a bit differently.
support from Denmark would be appreciated.
Austria: Hope Warsaw fell for you, but not as much as I
hope you took it with Silesia.
France: Thanks for holding off on running right
over me.
Russia: Leave Germany now, while you still can under
your own power.!
austria: as you requested. please start moving some of your armies to more northern locations, please.
